Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The involves handling daily accounting activities, managing transactions, and supporting financial audits. The candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and smooth financial operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update books of accounts including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
- Prepare and manage invoices, bills, and payment records.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow regularly.
- Assist in preparation of financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely processing of payments, vendor settlements, and collections.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgets.
- entify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
- Assist in payroll processing and related financial activities.
- Generate MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.
- Manage petty cash and day-to-day financial operations.
