Emergency Technologist

Emergency Technologist is responsible for supporting emergency care services, assisting doctors and nurses during critical care situations, preparing emergency equipment, and helping manage patient flow in the emergency department. The requires B.Sc Emergency Technology qualification with 0 to 1 year of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of emergency care, patient support, critical care assistance, and hospital emergency workflows.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and nurses during emergency patient care.
• Support patient assessment, monitoring, and emergency stabilization activities.
• Prepare emergency equipment, instruments, and required materials.
• Help in shifting, positioning, and transferring emergency patients safely.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to medical staff.
• Support emergency procedures under clinical supervision.
• Maintain readiness of emergency beds, trolleys, and equipment.
• Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, ICU, and other support departments.
• Maintain emergency department records and patient documentation.
• Follow infection control, hygiene, and patient safety protocols.
• Assist in CPR, trauma care, and critical patient support when required.
• Ensure emergency supplies and consumables are available.
• Clean and arrange emergency equipment after use.
• Communicate politely with patients and attendants during emergency situations.
• Support fast, disciplined, and patient-focused emergency care delivery.
