Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse B.Sc Fresher will be responsible for supporting patient care, medication administration, clinical monitoring, documentation, and nursing coordination under senior guidance in an eye hospital environment. This is suitable for B.Sc Nursing freshers who want to build practical clinical experience. The candidate will learn hospital nursing protocols, patient safety practices, infection control, and ophthalmology care workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist senior nurses in providing bedside and OPD patient care.
• Monitor patient vitals, comfort, treatment response, and clinical needs.
• Administer medicines, eye drops, injections, and nursing care under supervision.
• Prepare patients for eye procedures, investigations, surgery, and discharge.
• Maintain nursing records, medication charts, and handover documentation accurately.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Assist doctors and nurses during patient rounds and minor procedures.
• Educate patients on basic eye care and medicine instructions under guidance.
• Coordinate with OT, pharmacy, front office, diagnostics, and billing teams.
• Report abnormal findings, patient complaints, or safety concerns to seniors.
• Participate in training and learn hospital nursing standards.
• Deliver polite, compassionate, and disciplined nursing care.
