Physiotherapists are responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatments to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, recover from injuries, and restore physical function. The involves evaluating patient conditions, developing customized rehabilitation programs, conducting therapy sessions, and educating patients on exercises and preventive care. The candidate will play a key in supporting patient recovery and improving overall physical well-being.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess patient physical conditions, mobility limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Conduct physiotherapy sessions for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, or chronic pain.
- Use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation equipment for treatment.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture correction, mobility improvement, and preventive care.
- Assist patients in pain management, mobility enhancement, and functional recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient treatment records, progress notes, and therapy documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and therapy areas.
- Support rehabilitation programs for orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and sports injury patients.
- Encourage patient participation and motivation during rehabilitation programs.
- Follow safety protocols, infection control practices, and hospital guidelines during therapy sessions.
- Assist in post-operative rehabilitation and recovery management.
- Conduct mobility assessments and recommend supportive devices or therapeutic exercises when required.
- Participate in patient education programs and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of physiotherapy treatment areas.
- Stay updated with advancements in physiotherapy techniques, rehabilitation methods, and clinical practices.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and maintain professional ethics.
- Perform additional physiotherapy and rehabilitation-related responsibilities assigned by management or supervisors.
