Emergency Medical Technicians

Emergency Medical Technicians are responsible for providing immediate emergency medical care and patient support during medical emergencies, trauma situations, and patient transportation. The involves assessing patient conditions, administering basic emergency treatment, assisting doctors and nurses during emergencies, operating emergency equipment, and ensuring timely medical response. The candidate will play a critical in stabilizing patients and supporting emergency healthcare services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, trauma cases, and urgent patient care situations.
• Assess patient condition, vital signs, and level of emergency care required.
• Provide basic life support (BLS) and emergency medical assistance as per protocols.
• Assist doctors and nursing staff during emergency procedures and critical care situations.
• Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment such as oxygen systems, monitors, suction devices, and stretchers.
• Safely transport patients within the hospital or during ambulance transfers.
• Administer first aid and basic emergency treatment under medical supervision.
• Monitor patient condition during transportation and emergency care procedures.
• Ensure readiness and cleanliness of emergency medical equipment and ambulances.
• Maintain accurate documentation of emergency cases, patient conditions, and care provided.
• Coordinate with emergency department staff and other healthcare professionals for effective patient management.
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and emergency response guidelines.
• Assist in handling disaster management situations and mass casualty emergencies when required.
