Gynaecologist

The Gynaecologist will be responsible for obstetrics and gynaecology patient care, womens health consultation, antenatal and postnatal care, labour room support, gynecological procedures, emergency care, and patient counselling at NKS Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi. This requires MS or DNB Obstetrics and Gynaecology qualification with minimum 1 year of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage obstetrics and gynaecology patients in OPD, IPD, emergency, and labour room.
• Provide antenatal, postnatal, high-risk pregnancy, and gynecological care.
• Assist or perform deliveries, C-sections, and gynecological procedures as per experience.
• Review fetal monitoring, ultrasound reports, lab reports, and patient progress.
• Coordinate with OT, NICU, anesthesia, nursing, laboratory, and blood bank teams.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and escalate complex cases when needed.
• Maintain prescriptions, progress notes, consent forms, labour records, and discharge summaries.
• Counsel patients regarding pregnancy care, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up.
• Follow maternal safety, infection control, patient privacy, and ethical care standards.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement activities.
• Support smooth labour room and gynecology service workflow.
• Ensure compassionate, safe, and patient-centered womens healthcare.
