Medical Superintendent

The Medical Superintendent will be responsible for hospital medical administration, clinical governance, departmental coordination, quality compliance, patient safety, consultant coordination, and operational supervision at NKS Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi. This requires MBBS with MHA or MBA qualification and minimum 5 years of experience in hospital administration or medical management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise overall medical administration and clinical operations of the hospital.
• Coordinate with consultants, RMOs, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, OT, ICU, and support departments.
• Monitor clinical service quality, patient safety, documentation, and hospital protocols.
• Ensure smooth OPD, IPD, emergency, ICU, OT, and departmental workflow.
• Handle medical operational issues, patient escalations, and interdepartmental coordination.
• Support implementation of hospital policies, SOPs, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor medical records, consent documentation, incident reporting, and clinical audits.
• Coordinate manpower planning, duty allocation, and doctor availability with concerned teams.
• Support NABH, statutory, medico-legal, and internal audit readiness.
• Review patient care processes and suggest improvements for service quality.
• Conduct meetings with clinical and administrative teams for operational improvement.
• Ensure ethical, safe, compliant, and patient-centered hospital medical services.
