Radiologist

The Radiologist will be responsible for diagnostic imaging interpretation, reporting, radiology procedure supervision, patient safety, and clinician coordination at NKS Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi. This requires MD or DNB Radiodiagnosis qualification with minimum 1 year of experience in radiology services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret and report X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other radiology investigations.
• Review patient history, clinical indication, and imaging findings before final reporting.
• Communicate urgent or critical findings to treating doctors promptly.
• Supervise imaging procedures and ensure correct imaging protocols are followed.
• Coordinate with radiology technicians, clinicians, ICU, emergency, and nursing teams.
• Support contrast studies, image-guided procedures, and emergency imaging when required.
• Maintain radiology reports, patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.
• Ensure radiation safety, contrast safety, patient privacy, and infection control standards.
• Guide technicians on image quality, positioning, and protocol compliance.
• Support reporting quality, audit readiness, and diagnostic accuracy.
• Counsel patients when procedure-related explanation is required.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and ethical diagnostic radiology services.
