Senior Resident - ENT

The Senior Resident - ENT will support ENT patient care, OPD/IPD services, emergency ENT management, surgical assistance, clinical documentation, and patient counselling at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Delhi. This requires MBBS with MS or DNB in ENT and 2–5 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate ENT patients with ear, nose, throat, sinus, hearing, and voice-related complaints.
• Assist consultants in ENT OPD, procedures, surgeries, and emergency cases.
• Perform ENT examinations including otoscopy, nasal examination, throat examination, and endoscopy where required.
• Review audiometry, imaging, endoscopy, and laboratory reports.
• Maintain clinical notes, procedure records, prescriptions, handovers, and discharge documentation.
• Coordinate with OT, anesthesia, nursing, diagnostics, and emergency teams.
• Counsel patients on treatment, surgery, precautions, and follow-up care.
• Respond to ENT emergencies such as bleeding, airway concerns, or foreign body cases.
• Follow surgical safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
• Participate in rounds, case discussions, and academic activities.
• Maintain ethical clinical practice and patient confidentiality.
• Ensure safe and professional ENT clinical support.
