Senior Resident - Radiology

The Senior Resident - Radiology will support diagnostic imaging reporting, radiology procedures, imaging interpretation, emergency imaging support, clinician coordination, and documentation at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Delhi. This requires MBBS with MD or DNB in Radiology and 2–5 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support reporting of X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other imaging investigations.
• Review patient history, clinical indication, and imaging findings before reporting.
• Assist in imaging procedures, contrast studies, and emergency radiology support.
• Communicate urgent or critical findings to treating doctors promptly.
• Coordinate with radiology technicians, clinicians, ICU, emergency, and nursing teams.
• Maintain radiology reports, patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.
• Follow radiation safety, contrast safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
• Guide technicians on image quality, positioning, and protocol compliance.
• Support audit readiness, reporting quality, and diagnostic accuracy.
• Counsel patients when procedure-related explanation is required.
• Participate in case discussions and academic activities.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and ethical radiology support.
