OP Assistant

The OP Assistant will support outpatient department operations, doctor assistance, patient coordination, appointment flow, basic clinical support, and documentation at Cenora Medical Center, Pandikkad. This requires ANM qualification with minimum 1 year of experience in OPD, clinic, or hospital patient care support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during OP consultations and patient examination.
• Guide patients for registration, consultation, billing, pharmacy, and investigations.
• Record basic patient details, vitals, complaints, and follow-up instructions as required.
• Coordinate patient flow and help reduce waiting time in the OPD area.
• Maintain OPD records, appointment details, and basic documentation accurately.
• Support dressing, minor procedures, sample coordination, and clinical assistance under guidance.
• Coordinate with reception, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, and billing teams.
• Handle patient queries politely and escalate concerns to seniors when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and readiness of the OPD room.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, and patient safety practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Ensure smooth and patient-friendly OPD support services.
