Receptionist

The Receptionist will manage front desk activities, patient greeting, registration support, appointment coordination, call handling, enquiry response, and patient guidance at Cenora Medical Center, Pandikkad. This requires Any Degree or Diploma qualification with minimum 2 years of front office, reception, or patient service experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, attendants, visitors, and guests politely at the reception desk.
• Handle phone calls, walk-in enquiries, appointments, and basic service guidance.
• Support patient registration, OPD coordination, billing guidance, and report collection.
• Provide information about doctors, departments, timings, services, and process flow.
• Maintain visitor records, appointment registers, enquiry logs, and patient details accurately.
• Coordinate with OPD, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, and patient care teams.
• Guide patients to consultation rooms, billing counter, pharmacy, and laboratory areas.
• Manage waiting area communication and help reduce patient confusion.
• Handle patient queries politely and escalate unresolved issues to seniors.
• Use computer systems, telephone, and office tools efficiently.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
• Ensure smooth, respectful, and patient-friendly reception services.
