IT Officer

The IT Officer will support hospital IT operations, computer systems, network support, software troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, user support, and data security at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires BCA, B.Sc IT, diploma, or degree in computer / IT with 1–2 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hospital computers, printers, scanners, networks, and software systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, LAN, Wi-Fi, printer, and user login issues.
• Support hospital software, billing systems, patient registration systems, and administrative applications.
• Coordinate with departments for IT requirements, issue resolution, system access, and technical support.
• Maintain IT asset records, system logs, service reports, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Support basic server, backup, antivirus, data security, and network monitoring activities under guidance.
• Coordinate with vendors for system repair, AMC support, software support, and hardware replacement.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, scanners, routers, and peripheral devices.
• Ensure data confidentiality, user access discipline, and safe handling of hospital digital information.
• Report repeated technical issues, cybersecurity concerns, or system downtime promptly.
• Support IT readiness during audits, meetings, events, and hospital operations.
• Ensure smooth, secure, and reliable IT support for hospital teams.
