Radiologist

The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, preparing accurate radiology reports, supporting imaging protocols, and coordinating with clinicians and technicians. This requires MD or DNB Radiology qualification, strong diagnostic accuracy, imaging knowledge, patient safety awareness, and reporting discipline. The candidate will ensure timely, reliable, and clinically useful radiology reporting for patients and referring doctors.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interpret X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, or other diagnostic imaging studies as per center services.
• Prepare accurate, clear, and timely radiology reports for clinical decision-making.
• Review patient history, clinical indication, and previous reports before final interpretation.
• Guide radiology technicians on image quality, positioning, protocol, and repeat imaging needs.
• Ensure imaging procedures follow radiation safety, patient safety, and diagnostic standards.
• Communicate urgent, critical, or abnormal findings to referring doctors promptly.
• Support ultrasound procedures, image-guided evaluations, or special studies as per expertise.
• Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and medico-legal discipline in radiology reporting.
• Coordinate with cardiology, pathology, front office, billing, and patient care teams when required.
• Participate in quality checks, report audits, and process improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with radiology documentation, consent, and clinical protocols.
• Support patient-friendly communication during procedures when direct interaction is required.
• Review imaging workflow and help improve turnaround time.
• Maintain professional communication with referring consultants and healthcare partners.
