Sr. Executive - Facility & Maintenance

The Senior Executive – Facility & Maintenance will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring optimal functioning of hospital infrastructure, managing preventive and corrective maintenance systems, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams. The includes ensuring safety compliance, equipment uptime, and efficient facility management to support uninterrupted patient care services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee overall facility management and maintenance operations across the hospital.
• Ensure smooth functioning of building infrastructure, utilities, and essential services.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Monitor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil, and biomedical support systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repair and maintenance work.
• Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns and facility-related issues.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and infrastructure readiness.
• Conduct regular facility inspections andentify maintenance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and hospital standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and service reports.
• Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, gas) and implement efficiency measures.
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of critical hospital equipment support systems.
• Support biomedical engineering team for equipment maintenance coordination when required.
• Manage AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) vendors and service schedules.
• Ensure fire safety systems, emergency exits, and disaster preparedness readiness.
• Coordinate renovation, expansion, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Supervise housekeeping coordination for facility upkeep standards.
• Ensure adherence to NABH and healthcare infrastructure compliance requirements.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and breakdowns.
• Prepare MIS reports on maintenance activities and facility performance.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.
• Ensure vendor performance evaluation and service quality monitoring.
• Promote safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment at all times.
