Job Description
The TPA Executive will be responsible for end-to-end insurance and TPA operations including pre-authorization, documentation verification, claim processing, and settlement coordination. The requires strong communication skills, knowledge of healthcare insurance processes, and attention to detail to ensure timely approvals and accurate claim handling.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process cashless insurance approvals in coordination with TPAs and insurance companies.
- Verify patient insurance details, policy coverage, and eligibility criteria.
- Handle pre-authorization requests and follow up for timely approvals.
- Coordinate with doctors and billing team for required medical and financial documentation.
- Manage claim submissions, tracking, and settlement processes.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of insurance documentation.
- Handle claim rejections, queries, and resubmissions efficiently.
- Communicate with patients regarding insurance procedures, approvals, and requirements.
- Assist patients and relatives with insurance-related queries and guidance.
- Coordinate with billing department for final bill settlement and discharge clearance.
- Maintain records of all insurance cases and update status regularly.
- Monitor pending claims and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and insurance regulations.
- Prepare reports on approvals, denials, and claim settlements.
- Liaise with insurance representatives and maintain professional relationships.
- Support audits related to TPA and billing processes.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient and financial information.
- Work towards reducing turnaround time for approvals and settlements.
- Contribute to improving patient satisfaction in insurance-related services.
