The Senior Resident Anaesthesiology will support anaesthesia delivery, perioperative patient monitoring, airway care, ICU support, critical care assistance, and clinical documentation at Fortis Hospitals, New Delhi. This requires MD or DNB Anaesthesiology qualification with 0–5 years of experience in anaesthesiology, anaesthesia, intensive care, and critical care.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist consultants in pre-operative evaluation and anaesthesia planning.
- Support administration of general, spinal, epidural, regional, or local anaesthesia as per protocol.
- Monitor patient airway, vitals, oxygenation, ECG, fluids, medication response, and recovery status.
- Assist with airway management, intubation support, resuscitation, and pain management when required.
- Provide anaesthesia-related support in ICU, emergency, procedure rooms, and critical care areas.
- Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, anaesthesia technicians, ICU staff, pharmacy, and recovery room teams.
- Maintain anaesthesia records, PAC notes, consent forms, drug usage records, and post-operative documentation.
- Report complications, difficult airway concerns, adverse reactions, or sudden deterioration promptly.
- Follow OT safety, infection control, anaesthesia machine safety, and medication safety protocols.
- Support safe patient shifting from OT to recovery, ICU, or ward.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and professional communication.
- Deliver safe, alert, and patient-focused anaesthesia support.
