Staff Nurse - Nursing

The Staff Nurse will support operation theatre and assigned clinical nursing services by preparing patients, coordinating with anaesthesia teams, assisting doctors, and maintaining accurate nursing records. The candidate should have experience in OT nursing, patient care, data handling, and team coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in OT, ward, emergency, or assigned clinical areas.
• Support operation theatre preparation, patient positioning, and surgical workflow.
• Coordinate with anaesthesia team, surgeons, nurses, and OT technicians.
• Monitor patient vitals, pain, oxygen level, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed nursing care safely.
• Maintain nursing records, OT records, medication charts, and handover documentation.
• Support training and guidance of junior nurses when required.
• Follow infection control, OT safety, patient safety, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and patient care teams.
• Deliver safe, disciplined, and patient-centered nursing care.
