Dailysis Technician

BT Savani Kidney Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dialysis Technician to support the delivery of safe and effective dialysis treatments for patients with kidney-related conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, and ensuring adherence to clinical and safety standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate dialysis machines for hemodialysis procedures
• Assess patients before dialysis and record vital signs and medical history
• Monitor patients during dialysis sessions and respond to any complications or emergencies
• Ensure proper setup, sterilization, and maintenance of dialysis equipment
• Follow infection control protocols and biomedical waste management guidelines
• Assist doctors and nursing staff in dialysis-related procedures and patient care
• Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, patient status, and machine parameters
• Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures and aftercare
• Ensure proper handling and storage of consumables and dialysis supplies
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care

The need for a dedicated kidney hospital in Saurashtra became evident as a significant number of patients were traveling to Ahmedabad and Nadiad for treatment. Recognizing this gap, Dr. Pradip Kansagra envisioned a tertiary care kidney hospital in Rajkot.

With the support of philanthropists including Late Shree Devjibhai Patel, Shree Rameshbhai Patel, Shree Jayantibhai Faldu, and Dr. Vivek Joshi, the “Saurashtra Kidney Research Institute” was established as a charitable trust. The project gained momentum with generous contributions from society, including a major donation by Late Shree Bhagwanjibhai T. Savani.

Construction began in 1998 and was completed in 2002, with the hospital formally inaugurated on 2nd February 2003. Over the years, through the dedication of trustees, doctors, and staff, the hospital has built a strong reputation across Gujarat and India.
