Shiv Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Gastroenterologist to diagnose, treat, and manage disorders related to the digestive system. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal conditions while ensuring high standards of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including liver diseases, digestive issues, and pancreatic conditions
- Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic/therapeutic interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient condition and clinical findings
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment as necessary
- Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Educate patients and their families about disease management, diet, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records, procedure notes, and follow-up documentation
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and safety standards
- Participate in clinical audits, case discussions, and continuous medical education programs
- Stay updated with advancements in gastroenterology and endoscopic techniques
