Shiv Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neuro Physician to diagnose and manage disorders related to the nervous system. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive neurological care, ensure accurate diagnosis, and deliver effective treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, migraines, neuropathies, and neurodegenerative diseases
- Conduct detailed neurological examinations and interpret diagnostic tests such as CT, MRI, EEG, and other investigations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans for patients
- Manage acute neurological emergencies including stroke and seizures
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment as needed
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care and follow-up consultations
- Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety, and quality standards
- Participate in case discussions, audits, and continuous medical education programs
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neurology and treatment approaches
