MRD Executives

Kiran Multi Super Speciality Hospital & Research Center is seeking a detail-oriented and organized MRD Executive to manage Medical Records Department (MRD) operations and ensure accurate, complete, and confidential patient documentation. The involves maintaining medical records, supporting clinical documentation processes, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage patient medical records in both physical and electronic formats.
• Ensure accurate filing, indexing, retrieval, and archiving of medical records.
• Verify completeness and correctness of patient documentation and case files.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of all patient health information.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and departments for timely record completion.
• Handle requests for medical records from authorized personnel and patients.
• Prepare and issue discharge summaries and related documentation.
• Maintain MRD registers, logs, and tracking systems for records movement.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Support medico-legal case documentation and record retrieval.
• Assist in digitization and maintenance of electronic medical records (EMR).
• Track missing or incomplete records and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare MIS reports related to medical records and documentation activities.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of old and archived records.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and compliance checks by providing required records.
• Follow SOPs and maintain data accuracy in all MRD processes.
• Coordinate with billing, insurance, and clinical departments for documentation needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure ethical handling of patient data.
• Support continuous improvement in record management systems and processes.
