Job Description
The Audit Executive is responsible for supporting internal audits, financial verification, compliance checks, documentation review, and process monitoring within the hospital. The requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accounting knowledge, and the ability to identify discrepancies. The candidate should assist in improving financial accuracy, operational control, billing compliance, and audit readiness across hospital departments.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audit checks for hospital departments and financial processes.
- Verify billing records, payment entries, receipts, refunds, and supporting documents.
- Review purchase, inventory, pharmacy, laboratory, and administrative records as required.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, process gaps, and compliance deviations.
- Prepare audit observations, working papers, and summary reports for management.
- Coordinate with accounts, billing, stores, pharmacy, and department teams for data verification.
- Support statutory, internal, and management audit requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and evidence collection during audit activities.
- Check adherence to hospital policies, SOPs, and financial control procedures.
- Assist in reconciliation of financial and operational records.
- Follow up on audit findings and corrective action implementation.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial, patient, and organizational information.
- Support risk assessment and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare accurate reports within assigned timelines.
