Post Graduate Trainee

The Post Graduate Trainee – R&D ADL will assist the Analytical Development Laboratory team in sample preparation, analytical testing, documentation, and laboratory operations. This is suitable for fresh postgraduates in analytical or organic chemistry who want to build a career in pharmaceutical, chemical, or research-based analytical development. The trainee will gain hands-on exposure to analytical instruments, method development, quality systems, and laboratory compliance practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist analytical chemists in routine testing and analytical development activities.
• Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and solutions as per approved instructions.
• Support operation of analytical instruments under supervision.
• Maintain laboratory records, logbooks, worksheets, and sample tracking documents.
• Learn basic principles of HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, and other analytical techniques.
• Follow laboratory safety rules, SOPs, and Good Laboratory Practices.
• Support sample submission, testing coordination, and result compilation activities.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and proper arrangement of laboratory equipment.
• Observe analytical procedures and learn method development fundamentals.
• Report any testing issues, instrument errors, or abnormal observations to seniors.
• Participate in training programs related to analytical documentation and compliance.
• Support inventory tracking of chemicals, columns, glassware, and consumables.
• Assist in preparing basic analytical summaries and internal reports.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within defined timelines.
• Build technical knowledge of analytical development and quality-driven research.
