Sr ExecutiveAssistant Manager

The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Intellectual Property Rights will manage patent research, intellectual property documentation, freedom-to-operate analysis, and regulatory patent support for chemistry or pharmaceutical projects. This requires strong technical understanding of chemistry or pharmacy, patent searching skills, and the ability to coordinate with R&D, legal, and business teams. The position supports innovation protection, risk assessment, and strategic IP management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct patent searches related to chemical compounds, processes, formulations, and technologies.
• Prepare patentability, freedom-to-operate, invalidity, and landscape search reports.
• Analyze patent claims, specifications, legal status, and technical relevance.
• Support drafting and review of patent applications in coordination with external attorneys.
• Monitor competitor patents, published applications, and emerging IP trends.
• Coordinate with R&D teams to identify patentable inventions and technical disclosures.
• Maintain intellectual property records, patent databases, and documentation trackers.
• Assist in preparing responses for patent office actions and technical clarifications.
• Review research projects for potential IP risks and infringement concerns.
• Support product development teams with patent expiry and regulatory filing information.
• Prepare technical summaries, invention disclosure forms, and internal IP reports.
• Track deadlines related to patent filing, prosecution, renewals, and documentation.
• Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and business teams for IP strategy alignment.
• Ensure confidentiality of technical data, research findings, and proprietary information.
• Stay updated on patent laws, industry practices, and intellectual property guidelines.
