Unit Head Operations

The Unit Head Operations will lead complete hospital unit operations, departmental coordination, patient service workflow, business performance, team supervision, quality improvement, and operational strategy at Sahrudaya Health Care, Visakhapatnam. This requires MBA or hospital administration qualification with 12–20 years of healthcare operations leadership experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead daily hospital unit operations across OPD, IPD, emergency, diagnostics, billing, and support services.
• Coordinate with medical leadership, nursing, finance, HR, quality, pharmacy, diagnostics, and administration teams.
• Monitor patient flow, service delivery, admission process, discharge coordination, and patient experience.
• Review operational performance, revenue indicators, cost control, manpower, and departmental productivity.
• Resolve operational escalations, patient concerns, workflow delays, and interdepartmental issues.
• Implement hospital SOPs, service standards, process improvements, and operational policies.
• Prepare unit MIS, performance reports, management updates, and business reviews.
• Support quality, accreditation, statutory compliance, patient safety, and audit readiness.
• Monitor housekeeping, security, maintenance, stores, facility, and support service performance.
• Guide department heads and operational teams for better service delivery.
• Identify growth opportunities, service gaps, and improvement plans.
• Ensure efficient, compliant, and patient-centered hospital operations.
