Job Description:

GCS Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is seeking a Dietician to join their dynamic team and support the delivery of high-quality nutritional care and patient wellness services. The involves evaluating patient dietary needs, developing therapeutic nutrition plans, and promoting healthy lifestyle practices in line with clinical requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed nutritional assessments considering medical history, lifestyle, and dietary habits
• Develop and implement customized diet plans based on individual health conditions and goals
• Provide nutritional counseling and educate patients on balanced diets and healthy eating habits
• Monitor patient progress and modify dietary plans as required
• Plan and manage therapeutic diets for conditions such as diabetes, cardiac issues, renal disorders, and allergies
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient assessments and dietary progress
• Educate patients on food choices, portion control, and understanding nutritional labels
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
• Ensure adherence to hospital dietary standards, hygiene, and safety protocols
• Stay updated with advancements and best practices in nutrition and dietetics
