Endoscopy Technician

Bodyline Hospitals is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to assist in endoscopic procedures and ensure proper functioning of endoscopy equipment. The ideal candidate will support physicians during procedures, maintain equipment sterilization, and help provide safe and efficient care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic interventions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy equipment and instruments prior to procedures
• Ensure proper sterilization, cleaning, and maintenance of endoscopic devices
• Assist doctors during endoscopic procedures by handling instruments and providing necessary support
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any changes in condition to the physician
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment usage, and patient information
• Coordinate with the nursing and medical staff to ensure smooth workflow in the endoscopy unit
• Educate patients about pre- and post-procedure care instructions
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control standards, and safety guidelines
• Report technical issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to the biomedical or maintenance team
• Participate in periodic training and updates on endoscopy equipment and procedures
