Staff Nurse

Bodyline Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the Operating Theatre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons, preparing patients for surgery, and ensuring adherence to sterile protocols to maintain patient safety and surgical efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating theatre with required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and condition before, during, and after surgery
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterile techniques
• Administer medications, fluids, and pre-operative preparations as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of surgical procedures and patient care
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative care
• Coordinate with other nursing staff and OT personnel to ensure smooth workflow
• Handle and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and OT environment
• Participate in continuous training and updates on OT protocols and patient safety standards
