Executive - Biotech QA

Cadila Pharmaceuticals is seeking a QA professional to oversee and support quality assurance operations on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to cGMP guidelines during the manufacturing of vaccines and biosimilars. The involves managing qualification and validation activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors, and maintaining robust documentation practices. The candidate will play a key in ensuring regulatory compliance, process integrity, and continuous quality improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure cGMP compliance across shop floor operations during manufacturing activities for vaccines and biosimilars
• Execute and manage qualification activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ for equipment and utilities such as water systems, HVAC, pure steam, and compressed air systems
• Perform periodic re-qualification of existing equipment and critical systems along with area qualification activities
• Coordinate with external service providers for timely execution of qualification and validation activities
• Support implementation of CAPA and risk mitigation plans, including coordination during shutdown and maintenance activities
• Execute and compile validation, calibration, and preventive maintenance reports as per defined schedules
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure systematic filing and retrieval of qualification and validation records
• Raise purchase indents and support procurement-related activities for QA requirements
• Initiate change control processes and prepare related documentation for qualification and validation activities
• Prepare and follow annual validation plans and contribute to validation master planning
• Draft and revise SOPs related to qualification and validation processes
• entify and report any non-conformances to reporting authorities and support corrective actions
