The Front Desk Executive will manage front office operations, patient greeting, registration support, appointment scheduling, enquiry handling, call handling, and patient guidance at SAL Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires Any Graduate or Hospital Administration qualification with 1–2 years of experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, attendants, visitors, and guests politely at the front desk.
- Handle phone calls, walk-in enquiries, appointment scheduling, and basic service guidance.
- Support patient registration, OPD coordination, billing guidance, report collection, and patient movement.
- Provide information about doctors, departments, timings, services, consultation process, and hospital facilities.
- Maintain visitor records, appointment registers, enquiry logs, and patient information accurately.
- Coordinate with OPD, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, admission desk, and patient care teams.
- Guide patients to consultation rooms, billing counters, laboratory, pharmacy, diagnostics, and waiting areas.
- Manage waiting area communication and help reduce patient confusion or service delays.
- Handle patient queries politely and escalate unresolved issues to seniors promptly.
- Use hospital software, computer systems, telephone, printer, scanner, and office tools efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
- Ensure smooth, helpful, professional, and patient-friendly front desk services.
