AC Technician

The AC Technician will manage AC maintenance, HVAC support, refrigeration work, cooling system repair, preventive maintenance, and hospital facility support at SAL Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires ITI or Diploma in AC and Refrigeration with 1–2 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair AC units, HVAC systems, cooling systems, and refrigeration-related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance of AC systems in wards, ICU, OT, OPD, diagnostics, offices, and hospital service areas.
• Check cooling performance, gas level, filters, ducts, compressors, electrical connections, thermostats, and drainage lines.
• Respond to AC breakdown complaints and resolve issues within required timelines.
• Coordinate with facility, maintenance, biomedical, housekeeping, nursing, and administration teams.
• Maintain service logs, complaint records, maintenance reports, gas filling records, and material usage records.
• Support installation, shifting, servicing, and replacement of AC units when required.
• Report major faults, repeated breakdowns, spare part needs, or safety concerns to seniors promptly.
• Follow hospital safety, electrical safety, infection control, and facility maintenance SOPs.
• Ensure proper cooling and ventilation in patient care and clinical service areas.
• Keep tools, AC materials, and maintenance areas organized and safe.
• Ensure comfortable, safe, and functional cooling support across hospital premises.
