Micro Officer

The Micro Officer will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, water, and finished products. The involves maintaining sterile conditions, ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP standards, and supporting environmental monitoring and validation activities. The candidate will work closely with QA and QC teams to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Conduct tests such as microbial limit tests, sterility testing, and endotoxin testing.
• Carry out environmental monitoring of clean rooms, equipment, and production areas.
• Prepare culture media, reagents, and maintain microbial cultures.
• Ensure proper sterilization of equipment and maintenance of aseptic conditions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and microbiological standards.
• Investigate microbiological deviations, OOS results, and contamination issues.
• Support validation activities such as process validation and cleaning validation.
• Monitor water systems and utilities for microbiological quality.
• Participate in internal audits and support external regulatory inspections.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biohazard materials.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure calibration and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in microbiological testing processes.
