Pharmacist - Family Clinic is responsible for managing pharmacy operations, medicine dispensing, prescription verification, drug safety, inventory control, and patient medication support. The requires D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification with 4 to 9 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of pharmacy, dispensing, hospital pharmacy, medicine safety, purchase coordination, and production-related medicine handling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions.
- Verify patient details, medicine name, dosage, quantity, and instructions before issue.
- Explain basic medicine usage, timing, and precautions to patients when required.
- Maintain pharmacy stock, inventory records, and medicine availability.
- Check expiry dates and support proper stock rotation.
- Arrange medicines and pharmacy items in an organized manner.
- Handle medicine purchase coordination and stock replenishment support.
- Maintain purchase, issue, return, and stock documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, store, and purchase departments.
- Ensure safe storage of medicines as per required conditions.
- Follow drug safety, pharmacy law, and medication handling guidelines.
- Report low-stock, expired, damaged, or slow-moving medicines to seniors.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and professional standards in pharmacy.
- Keep patient prescription and pharmacy information confidential.
- Ensure smooth, accurate, and patient-friendly pharmacy service.
