Packing Supervisor / Executive

The Packing Supervisor / Executive will manage day-to-day packaging operations, ensure adherence to cGMP guidelines, and coordinate with production and quality teams to deliver finished goods as per specifications. This requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage teams effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise daily packaging activities as per production schedules.
• Ensure proper packaging of finished products in compliance with SOPs and specifications.
• Monitor packing line operations for efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, safety, and regulatory standards in packaging areas.
• Verify batch packing records (BPR) and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for in-process checks and approvals.
• Supervise packing staff and ensure proper allocation of duties.
• Ensure correct labeling, coding, and packaging of products.
• Monitor and control packaging material usage to minimize wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and good housekeeping in packing areas.
• Handle deviations, discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of packing equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for equipment issues.
• Ensure availability of packing materials and coordinate with stores/procurement.
• Support audits and ensure audit readiness for regulatory inspections.
• Maintain inventory records of packaging materials and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and use of PPE.
• Train and guide packing staff on SOPs and best practices.
• Monitor productivity and implement process improvements.
• Ensure timely completion of packing targets and dispatch readiness.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for smooth dispatch operations.
• Maintain discipline, teamwork, and efficiency within the team.
• Stay updated with packaging standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to overall operational efficiency and product quality.
