Production Assistant / Deputy Manager

The Production Assistant / Deputy Manager will be responsible for supervising day-to-day production operations, ensuring adherence to cGMP guidelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. This requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive productivity in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities as per schedules.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Supervise production teams and ensure effective manpower utilization.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, and engineering teams for smooth production operations.
• Ensure accurate preparation and review of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
• entify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and minimize wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and good housekeeping in production areas.
• Handle deviations, incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure timely completion of production batches and targets.
• Support technology transfer and scale-up activities from R&D.
• Participate in validation and qualification processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure audit readiness.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.
• Train, guide, and mentor production staff for performance improvement.
• Monitor production KPIs and prepare reports for management review.
• Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams for material availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
• Maintain discipline, teamwork, and accountability within the team.
• Stay updated with industry trends and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices.
• Contribute to achieving production targets and organizational goals.
