Resident Medical Officer

HCG Hospitals is seeking a Resident Medical Officer to oversee patient care activities, ensure accurate medical documentation, and support consultants in treatment and procedures. The involves continuous patient monitoring, coordination with nursing staff, and adherence to clinical protocols to ensure safe and efficient healthcare delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and complete patient documentation including case files, investigations, and treatment records
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and key clinical parameters on a regular basis
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, and emergency situations
• Ensure timely administration of medications and proper patient care practices
• Supervise and coordinate with nursing staff for treatment execution and patient monitoring
• Handle emergency cases, attend on-call duties, and provide immediate medical support
• Verify and monitor procedures such as blood transfusions, chemotherapy, and critical care interventions
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and duty schedules
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuous learning activities.
