R&D Chemist

The R&D Chemist will be responsible for conducting research and development activities related to pharmaceutical formulations, process optimization, analytical evaluation, and product improvement. The involves performing laboratory experiments, preparing technical documentation, supporting scale-up activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and regulatory compliance. The candidate should possess strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct formulation and development activities for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
• Perform laboratory experiments, trials, and analytical evaluations as per project requirements.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and formulation parameters.
• Prepare and maintain development records, protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, production, and regulatory teams for smooth project execution.
• Conduct compatibility studies, stability studies, and product performance evaluations.
• Support technology transfer, scale-up, and exhibit batch activities.
• Troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues during development stages.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analytical equipment properly.
• Perform literature review and scientific research to support product innovation.
• Assist in preparation of regulatory documentation and technical dossiers.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and proper handling of chemicals and materials.
• Ensure accurate documentation and integrity of development data and records.
• Participate in validation and qualification activities related to product development.
• Coordinate procurement of laboratory chemicals, reagents, and development materials.
• Support audit and inspection activities related to R&D operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and process efficiency.
• Stay updated with pharmaceutical technologies, regulatory updates, and industry trends.
• Support successful commercialization and launch of developed products.
