Job Description
The Business Development Executive will play a key in market expansion by engaging with potential clients, understanding their requirements, and offering suitable laboratory and analytical testing solutions. This requires strong communication skills, sales acumen, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for laboratory and analytical testing services.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and opportunities.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Meet prospective clients to present services and convert leads into business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate pricing with clients.
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams for timely execution of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Follow up with clients for inquiries, approvals, and order closures.
- Provide basic technical knowledge of testing services to clients.
- Ensure smooth communication between clients and internal departments.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address concerns or escalations promptly.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Track competitor activities and suggest strategies for business growth.
- Support senior management in planning and executing business strategies.
- Maintain updated knowledge of laboratory services, standards, and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and professional conduct.
- Contribute to brand visibility and market presence.
