Sr. Analyst

The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for developing, validating, and transferring analytical methods, particularly using ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry). This requires strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and the ability to ensure compliance with international standards and laboratory protocols.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize analytical methods using ICP-MS for elemental analysis.
• Perform method validation as per regulatory guidelines (ICH, USP, EP, etc.).
• Conduct method transfer and verification activities across laboratory systems.
• Analyze complex samples and ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Prepare validation protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot analytical issues and optimize instrument performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards such as ISO, NABL, GLP, and GMP.
• Maintain and calibrate ICP-MS instruments and associated equipment.
• Review and interpret analytical data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to validation and documentation standards.
• Support audit and inspection activities by providing necessary documentation.
• Train and mentor junior analysts and laboratory staff.
• Maintain laboratory records, logs, and documentation as per compliance requirements.
• Ensure proper sample preparation, handling, and storage procedures.
• Participate in research and development activities for new analytical methods.
• Monitor and implement updates in regulatory guidelines and analytical technologies.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and laboratory best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution and timelines.
• Perform routine and non-routine analysis as required.
• Maintain inventory of reagents, standards, and consumables related to ICP-MS.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and reporting.
