Chemist

The Chemist – Bio Analytical will be responsible for analyzing biological samples using advanced analytical techniques, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining high levels of data accuracy and integrity. This requires strong technical expertise, precision, and adherence to laboratory protocols.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform bioanalytical testing of biological samples such as plasma, serum, urine, and tissues.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC, and spectrophotometers.
• Prepare samples, reagents, calibration standards, and quality control samples.
• Follow validated analytical methods and SOPs for accurate and reproducible results.
• Record, analyze, and interpret data ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records, documentation, and test reports.
• Ensure adherence to GLP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in method development, validation, and transfer activities.
• Perform routine instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biological samples and chemicals.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Support research and development projects related to bioanalytical testing.
• Identify deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
• Ensure laboratory safety and follow biosafety and chemical safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals, reagents, and consumables.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely completion of projects.
• Analyze results and report any abnormal findings to senior staff.
• Stay updated with advancements in bioanalytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Assist in training junior staff and maintaining laboratory discipline.
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in laboratory processes and efficiency.
