Job Description
Care Hospitals is seeking a Pharmacist to handle prescription dispensing, manage pharmacy inventory, and support patient care services. The involves ensuring timely and error-free medication delivery, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with the team to enhance operational efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and ensure timely service to patients
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, and precautions
- Manage inventory, track stock levels, and maintain accountability of pharmacy materials
- Prepare MIS reports and maintain proper documentation of pharmacy activities
- Handle customer queries, prescriptions, and home delivery coordination
- Monitor and reduce dispensing time to improve patient experience
- Maintain records for medicine bounces, high-value drugs, and stock accountability
- Report and document medication errors as per hospital protocols
- Coordinate manpower and support smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations
