Quality Assurance Officer Job in Indore at Lupin

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for ensuring GMP compliance, documentation accuracy, shop-floor monitoring, and quality system support for sterile and ophthalmic manufacturing operations. This requires knowledge of QA practices, environmental monitoring documentation, SOP compliance, deviation handling, CAPA, and audit readiness. The candidate will coordinate with production, QC, microbiology, warehouse, and engineering teams to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review batch records, logbooks, SOPs, protocols, and quality documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards.
  • Conduct routine shop-floor monitoring in sterile, ophthalmic, production, packing, and utility areas.
  • Verify line clearance, in-process checks, equipment status, material status, and area readiness.
  • Support QA activities related to environmental monitoring and sterile manufacturing compliance.
  • Handle documentation related to deviations, CAPA, change control, incidents, and investigations.
  • Monitor closure of quality observations, pending actions, audit commitments, and compliance trackers.
  • Coordinate with production, QC, microbiology, warehouse, engineering, and validation teams.
  • Maintain controlled documents, issuance records, retrieval logs, archival records, and document traceability.
  • Identify documentation gaps, procedural non-compliances, and quality risks for timely correction.
  • Support internal audits, customer audits, regulatory inspections, and inspection readiness activities.
  • Ensure data integrity, good documentation practices, and timely completion of QA records.
  • Review cleaning records, sterilization records, area logs, and process compliance documents.
  • Train staff on GMP, GDP, SOP compliance, hygiene, and quality culture expectations.
  • Promote continuous improvement in compliance performance, documentation quality, and operational discipline.
