Quality Assurance Officer - Sr Officer

The Quality Assurance Officer - Sr. Officer will be responsible for ensuring GMP compliance, reviewing quality documentation, monitoring shop-floor activities, and supporting quality systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This requires strong understanding of QA practices, SOPs, batch record review, deviation handling, CAPA, change control, and data integrity. The candidate will coordinate with production, QC, warehouse, and engineering teams to maintain product quality and audit readiness.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review batch manufacturing records, batch packing records, logbooks, and quality documents for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards.
• Conduct routine shop-floor monitoring in production, packing, warehouse, QC, and utility areas.
• Verify line clearance, in-process checks, material status, equipment status, and area readiness.
• Handle documentation related to deviations, CAPA, change control, incidents, and investigations.
• Monitor closure of quality observations, compliance trackers, pending actions, and audit commitments.
• Coordinate with production, QC, warehouse, engineering, regulatory, and validation teams for QA activities.
• Maintain controlled documents, issuance records, retrieval logs, archival records, and document traceability.
• Identify documentation gaps, procedural non-compliances, and quality risks for timely corrective action.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, regulatory inspections, and inspection readiness preparation.
• Ensure data integrity, good documentation practices, and timely completion of QA records.
• Review SOPs, protocols, validation documents, qualification records, and quality system reports.
• Support investigation of deviations, complaints, market returns, and product quality concerns.
• Train staff on GMP, GDP, SOP compliance, data integrity, and quality culture expectations.
• Promote continuous improvement in quality systems, compliance performance, and operational discipline.
