Quality Control Officer -Executive Job in Indore at Lupin

Job Description

The Quality Control Officer - Executive will be responsible for quality control testing, laboratory documentation, instrument operation, and compliance support for sterile and ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. This requires strong knowledge of QC procedures, analytical testing, GMP, GLP, data integrity, and sterile product quality expectations. The candidate will support accurate analysis, timely sample release, laboratory safety, and audit-ready quality control operations.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control testing of sterile, ophthalmic, raw material, in-process, and finished product samples.
  • Conduct analytical evaluations as per approved specifications, STPs, and pharmacopeial requirements.
  • Operate and maintain QC instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, pH meter, and related equipment.
  • Prepare standards, reagents, buffers, mobile phases, and sample solutions as per procedure.
  • Record raw data, analytical observations, chromatograms, calculations, and worksheets accurately.
  • Review test results and immediately report OOS, OOT, deviations, or abnormal findings.
  • Follow GLP, GMP, data integrity, laboratory safety, and sterile product testing requirements.
  • Maintain instrument logs, calibration records, usage records, sample registers, and laboratory documents.
  • Support method validation, method transfer, verification, and routine troubleshooting activities.
  • Coordinate with QA, production, warehouse, and stability teams for sample management and release.
  • Participate in laboratory investigations, deviation handling, and corrective action activities.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling, and disposal of chemicals, samples, and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, chemical inventory, glassware, and consumables in the QC area.
  • Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspection readiness.
  • Complete assigned testing and documentation within timelines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
