Job Description
The Executive – Costing will play a key in product cost analysis, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. This requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of pharmaceutical pricing regulations, and experience in handling costing systems and financial data.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform product costing, cost updates, and variance analysis.
- Prepare detailed costing reports and provide insights to management.
- Analyze cost fluctuations andentify areas for cost optimization.
- Handle inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate tracking of material consumption and production costs.
- Manage month-end closing activities related to costing and revenue.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for costing functions.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all costing activities.
- Work on pricing procedures, including Sales & Distribution (S&D) modules.
- Ensure compliance with DPCO (Drug Price Control Order) provisions.
- Handle filing of pricing and regulatory forms through IPDMS.
- Coordinate with production, finance, and supply chain teams for data accuracy.
- Monitor cost structures and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to costing and inventory.
- entify discrepancies and resolve issues in costing and accounting data.
- Provide cost-related inputs for pricing and profitability analysis.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy in costing systems.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and costing methodologies.
