Job Description

Lupin Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Sales Training to design, implement, and drive comprehensive training programs for the field force, ensuring capability building, performance enhancement, and alignment with business objectives. The focuses on developing structured training frameworks, strengthening product knowledge, and enabling sales teams to effectively address market challenges and achieve growth targets.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • entify and collate field force training needs through structured Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training framework, roadmap, and calendar for Medical Executives (MEs) and Area Managers (AMs).
  • Define clear training objectives, KPIs, and success metrics for capability development.
  • Design and deliver engaging, interactive, and impactful training programs.
  • Conduct product training, disease knowledge sessions, and skill enhancement workshops.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop training modules for new product launches and brand refresh initiatives.
  • Train teams on objection handling, communication skills, and effective sales presentations.
  • Provide hands-on field coaching through joint field work,-plays, and practical demonstrations.
  • Reinforce learning through continuous in-field training and real-time feedback.
  • Align training initiatives with organizational goals and sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular skill assessments, product knowledge tests, and performance evaluations.
  • Utilize digital tools (e.g., SMART WINNR) to track learning progress and generate insight reports.
  • Analyze training effectiveness andentify gaps for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for team members.
  • Prepare field force to handle current and future market challenges through proactive training approaches.
  • Support onboarding and training of new hires through structured induction programs.
  • Participate in cross-functional training initiatives such as trainee development programs.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of training content and delivery.
  • Monitor and track training participation, completion, and performance outcomes.
  • Continuously update training materials based on market trends, product updates, and business needs.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization.
  • Ensure high-quality training delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
