Job Description
Experienced Manager – Production Microbial responsible for overseeing microbial production operations, process optimization, quality compliance, and team management within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or fermentation-based manufacturing environments. Skilled in microbial process control, aseptic operations, batch execution, and regulatory compliance. Adept at ensuring efficient production planning, maintaining product quality, and driving continuous improvement while adhering to GMP, biosafety, and operational standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end microbial production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Oversee fermentation, culture handling, aseptic processing, and microbial manufacturing operations.
- Plan and supervise batch production schedules for timely execution and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, biosafety, hygiene, and microbial production protocols.
- Monitor process parameters and optimize microbial growth and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, engineering, and supply chain teams for seamless operations.
- Review batch manufacturing records and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Manage troubleshooting of process deviations, contamination risks, and operational issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and implementation of CAPA for production-related incidents.
- Ensure proper utilization of equipment, utilities, and production resources.
- Drive productivity improvement, waste reduction, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff on SOPs and operational practices.
- Support equipment qualification, validation, and process improvement projects.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials, media, and consumables required for production.
- Prepare production reports, KPI analysis, and operational updates for senior management.
