Synergy Superspeciality Hospitals is seeking a skilled and motivated Bio Medical Engineer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and ensuring the optimal performance of all medical equipment in the hospital, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring patient safety through reliable technology.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission new biomedical equipment.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and calibration of medical devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, service logs, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all medical equipment complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for AMC/CMC management and procurement.
- Assist clinical staff in operating complex medical equipment efficiently.
- Conduct equipment audits, inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Provide technical recommendations for procurement and equipment upgrades.
- Train hospital staff on proper usage and basic troubleshooting of medical devices.
- Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues effectively.
- Follow hospital policies, quality guidelines, and accreditation standards (NABH/NABL/ACCI).
