Medical Content Writer

As a Medical Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating accurate, engaging, and easy-to-understand healthcare content, especially focused on medical laboratories and diagnostic services. You will work closely with the marketing and product team to develop content that enhances brand credibility, educates users, and drives engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Content Creation:

• Write high-quality content related to medical laboratory tests, diagnostics, and healthcare topics
• Create blogs, articles, website content, and educational materials
• Simplify complex medical terminology into user-friendly content
• Ensure all content is medically accurate and well-researched.

Content Optimization (SEO):

• Conduct keyword research toentify relevant healthcare and diagnostic-related keywords
• Optimize content for search engines while maintaining readability
• Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, keyword placement)
• Continuously update existing content to improve performance.

Research & Accuracy:

• Research medical topics from reliable sources (WHO, PubMed, etc.)
• Verify facts, data, and medical claims before publishing
• Stay updated with the latest healthcare trends, terminology, and guidelines

Collaboration:

• Work with marketing and design teams to create engaging content
• Align content with brand voice and marketing strategies
• Assist in creating content for social media, campaigns, and ads

Performance & Improvement:

• Analyze content performance (traffic, engagement, readability)
• Use insights to improve content quality and effectiveness
• Implement A/B testing for content formats and topics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, BMLT, Pharmacy, or related field
• Proven experience in medical or healthcare content writing
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory tests (CBC, LFT, KFT, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of SEO and content optimization
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
